A poster/print was created for an art exhibition featuring Vejigantes - masks that hold significant cultural value in Puerto Rican and Caribbean traditions. Originating from the medieval era and the invasion of the Moors in Spain, these masks were initially employed to instill fear in people and drive them back toward the church. However, they symbolized resilience and triumph over evil in Spanish colonies over time, becoming an integral part of carnival celebrations.
